Here at Myrmidon Security we take training very seriously.  In order to provide the best real-world training possible, the Company will conduct its tactical training and firearms qualification at the US Army’s Pinon Canyon Maneuver Site.  Located a mere 30 miles northeast of Trinidad, the training facilities are second only in size to the National Training Center at Fort Irwin California. The Maneuver Site has, since 1983, provided a rugged, austere, and adaptable training environment for the Army’s 4th Infantry Division and troops stationed at Fort Carson.  Myrmidon Security hopes to someday provide an effective opposition force (OPFOR) comprised of our employees which will allow for even better and more realistic training for ourselves and for the Army as well.
